Alison Zack is Sr. Director of Product Design and UX at HuffPost. She joined the HuffPost in 2012 and took over leading the design team two years later. Most recently, Alison’s team redesigned HuffPost.com and its native apps which won the 2018 Webby People’s Choice Award for Best News App and an honorary mention for the redesigned website. Prior to joining HuffPost, Alison was a design lead at Behavior, a NYC digital agency, where she worked on several microsites for HBO series, including “True Blood,” “Game of Thrones,” “John Adams,” “In Treatment” and “Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee.” She also redesigned sites like BusinessWeek, New Victory Theater and more.
Fun fact: Alison is 100% self-taught and started her design career making flyers for NYC gay bars and restaurants.
She lives in Brooklyn with her wife, son and dog.
