When I was promoted to the position of Full Time Mentor and Specialist at Apple Inc. my Store Leader asked me if I knew why I was being promoted. I responded with my leading sales metrics and NPS Scores, but to my surprise I was incorrect.
What he told me still rings true today and fills me with pride as I reminisce. He said “Brandon, over the past couple weeks I have taken the time to shadow you while you were on the sales floor, insuring that you were un aware of my presence, and what I noticed most about you is that you can handle any kind of customer that walks through that door. You can connect with them and provide them with an Apple experience.”
It’s hard to say if anyone is truly born into this world to accomplish a particular goal, but what I can say for certain is that through my life experiences I have grown and been shaped into the kind of person who thrives on interpersonal experiences and am able to do so in a way that leaves a lasting impression on those whom I serve.
Along with customer service in the tech industry I have been a web designer for six years, a web developer for three of those years, and a Raspberry Pi phonetic for over a year. My primary project this past year has been developing software that allows for users to design voice interfaces for websites while having little to no technical knowledge. The product is know as MAIA (My Artificial Intelligence Assistant).
I am available for full-time or part-time employment and am willing to relocate.
