Leanne creates and executes SpotX’s branding, communications and training strategies. She has 20 years of experience launching and positioning fast-growth technology startups to market leadership. Leanne is responsible for SpotX’s global marketing communications, PR, and go-to-market strategy, which have helped SpotX achieve its leadership position in video advertising technology. Her team’s training efforts ensure media owners better understand their audiences and maximize their revenue through the SpotX platform, while training and developing SpotXers to be the smartest, most effective leaders in the ad tech industry. She has served on the executive teams of four startup technology companies in the advertising, supply chain and healthcare technology industries. Leanne is also a certified executive coach, and uses those skills and experience to help train, develop and mentor SpotX team members. She leads SpotX’s efforts to hire and retain underrepresented populations in tech, including women, and she promotes SpotX’s leadership as a Pacesetter company of the National Center of Women & IT (NCWIT). As a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, Leanne was responsible for media relations during deployments to Afghanistan, Kuwait, Macedonia and Somalia. She currently serves as a training officer for the Colorado Army National Guard and is a liaison officer with civilian agencies during state emergencies and natural disasters. Leanne received a BA in communications from the University of Southern California and an MBA with a concentration in marketing from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
