Marti joined Google in 2007 and has worked in support since joining. She led a number of customer service initiatives and trainings at Google, including the first global customer service training for the AdWords team. While Marti was exposed to IT early in life, working on her university’s help desk team, it wasn’t something that was encouraged. When she started at Google, Marti saw herself as an “interpreter” between users and engineers. This led her to become a manager with the Information Technology Residency Program. She enjoys the opportunity to teach people how to help others with technology.
