Mimi Liu is an Executive Director of Engineering and Software Architect at athenahealth and a graduate of MIT. Mimi’s work at athenahealth has spanned several projects but has focused on delivering software solutions to improve healthcare in the US. Mimi is passionate about helping other engineers to develop in their careers and especially supporting and connecting with other women in the industry. She lead the charge to develop women in tech lunches at athena and athena’s sponsorship of the Anita Borg Institute and Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing. Outside of athena, she serves as a board member for the Bronx Academy of Software Engineering to further technology education for students. Mimi is also a world traveler recently spending time in India with her husband and two children.
