Mo is the co-founder of Karat. Karat has professionalized the craft of technical interviewing — the company conducts thousands of first round technical interviews each month on behalf of delighted clients like Jet.com, MuleSoft, Minted and Intuit through a network of trained software engineers. By delivering a consistent, data-driven assessment for its clients, Karat has made technical interviewing a customer-centric experience for candidates that is grounded in skills, not pedigree.
Prior to Karat, Mo was the Senior Director of Product Strategy and M&A at XBOX. While at XBOX, Mo and his team completed over $500M of partnerships in the gaming industry. Before XBOX, Mo managed Microsoft's $200M venture fund in China and was previously an entrepreneur as the founder of Topic Magazine.
Mo has always had a passion for recruiting and developing talent. He lives in Seattle, WA with his wife and very active two kids! He loves to ski, cook and visit close relatives in India.
